Dear BeatTheFishers,

I'm a fairly experienced online poker player, havin made, relatively speaking, a lot of money considering the time I've spent playing. However the question I have is, in my opinion, kind of fishy.

I've been playin on the PartyPoker network only so far, and obviously I tried entering the bonus code when depositing my first 50 euros, or 66 bucks. I didnt get the bonus I was promised, don't even remember what they promised me actually.

Not that I cared, but the question I have is related. For instance, banners on this site state that depositing 600$ on FullTiltPoker gets you another 600 right off the hook. Well, you gotta enlighten me on that one. Does it involve having to play x100 hands before gettin it? Something else goin on there, some kind of trick? Cause I simply cannot imagine depositing 500$ and seeing 1000$ on my account. If that were true, I'd just grind the 1000 over to my bank account, making 500, and bragging about how I made another 500 in one night.

Guess the answer will be fairly simple, still I'm dying to know!

Cheers

Jay

Hi Jay,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. I'm not sure why you didn't receive your signup bonus at Party Poker. Perhaps you could provide me with more information. Firstly, did you use the links from beatthefish.com to visit the site? That would be the first step required to receive the bonus. Then, you would need to start playing on the site and build up your raked hands. You can find the details at http://www.beatthefish.com/poker-reviews/party-poker.html .

In regards to your question about Full Tilt, no where on this site does it state that you will be getting an extra $600 "right off the bat". As with just about every online poker site, there are bonus clearing requirements. I've clearly posted them on the review at http://www.beatthefish.com/poker-reviews/full-tilt-poker.html and you can take a look in the Bonus section if you need to know more details. My job is to rate my opinions of the bonus program and how easy it is to clear, which is what I've done on the review. Specifically, Full Tilt has a pretty generous bonus program that is fairly easy to cash out.

If you're looking for a pure instant cash bonus, there are still a few poker rooms that offer this. You can view a list of those rooms at http://www.beatthefish.com/top-poker-rooms/instant-bonus.html . Please note that these are often special deals so you would only be eligible by visiting through our site.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Dear BTF,

Thanks for replying.

In response to your question: back in the days I didn't know this site yet, so I just used a random non-BTF-related bonus code. I believe I googled something like 'PartyPoker bonus code', and just went on from there. Actually I can't really recall, but it doesn't matter that much anyway. It certainly doesn't involve a flaw in the BTF offers, I'll tell you that.

Additionally, concerning my question about the FTP 100% bonus: I wasn't really pointing at that site in particular, I was just trying to get the general picture there. I read the FTP bonus section you provided in your reply, but I didn't really find my answers there.

The main purpose of my question was more general: There are so much bonuses being offered, but since I didn't get mine back in the days, I started wondering what the conditions were to get them. In other words, what are the usual conditions related? Do you have to play a large number of raked hands, participate in a large number of tourneys, et cetera. I'm looking for the general picture here, as well as some figures.

For example, let's say you have to play (I'm just speaking hypothetically here) 5,000 raked hands on FTP to obtain the bonus. In that case I really wouldn't bother getting involved with changing to that site. However if you had to play 500 of 'em, it would be much more appealing.

Off topic, just wanna congratulate you on the great site you produced, one of the only online places I've encountered that provides quality strategy material, as well as an extremely thorough review of every available poker site. Truly amazing job, really.

Cheers

Jay
