I started playing a pub leauge last thursday. didnt know what to expect but after about 5 mins of play i could see everyone there was a great big fish. The tables phylosophy was that you have to see the flop no matter what as anything could happen.

I thought I would take the table no probs but after sitting there for about half an hour I got a hand and made my move. After the flop (Which I raised big but still got called by all players) I hit top trips on a rainbow flop and knowing how lose the table was i went all in. I got called by two players with absoloutly nothing and one of them ended up hitting a flush...... Oh well bad beats happen right.

So yesterday I go again. Sit on the table watch people go all on on a flush draw and get called by bottom pair... WTF!

Finnaly I get dealt pocket Aces in late position what could be better It goes round the table of calls and somone raises double the blind, two more call that before it gets to me and I go all-In I know the previous raise will call me so figure I can take his stack. anyway he calls and so does one other player. We turn our cards over

WTF I think how can you call on a Q8 offsuite oh well he will be punnished for his mistake with pocket aces and kings on the table. But i was wrong he wiped us out hitting a Q on the flop and a Q on the river.

I shake it off and move on next time I get a hand its Pocket Kings. Same sortta senario I know how lose this table is and a big raise wont get anyone out the pot so I go all in. I get called with pocket Qs flop comes and no Qs just 2 more cards to dodge a fish from the end of the table shouts "Ahhh i folded a Queen" so that leaves one in the deck about 4% chance and yep he hit it on the River! Grrrr starting to get pi$$ed off now but I wont let myselft go on tilt I wait for the next good hand.

Some time later I get my Kings back. Im a bit worried after last time but tell myself a good player never looks back. So end up all in pre-flop again. I get called by Q10 of clubs and sure enough they hit the flush.

Am I going wrong somwhere???
