Phil Ivey Wins Monte Carlo Millions

In this
exclusive multi-million dollar poker
tournament, the only way to get in
was via invitation or special
satellites. The buy-in was $25,000
and consisted of 112 entrants
fighting for a total $3,000,000
prize pool. Phil Ivey took a
commanding chip lead going into
yesterday's final table and closed
out with the victory and the
$1,000,000 top prize. John Juanda
finished 6th after re-earning his
place at the final table through a
second chance event. He took away
$100,000 for his efforts. These were
the final standings and cash prizes
for the 4-day event:
