New Features Allow Multiple Tables
at Pacific
April 5, 2006 (written by Beat The Fish)
Pacific Poker launched an
upgrade to their poker software this
week mainly to accommodate popular
demand for a multiple table feature.
All players will now be able to
multi-table with both ring games and
tournaments allowing you to keep
your attention span in check. Each
game will open in its own window
from the lobby. While their games
have traditionally run at a pretty
good speed, this will increase the
number of hands you can play there
per hour.
Additionally, the graphical
interface has been stylized to look
a bit more current. Overall, the
software update appears to be a
positive change and will allow
players to multi-table within their
platform rather than opening up
another site. Another small
improvement that I appreciate is the
option to bring the table to the
front when it is your turn to act
rather than just flashing the
taskbar menu. Both new and existing
players will need to re-download the
updated version from the
Pacific Poker homepage.

you're curious about
Pacific Poker, you can read our
full review for a more thorough
cross-section of the site on the
whole. Overall, we give them high
marks for their instant bonus
through our site and awful ring game
players. This software update also
improves their overall
functionality.
