Online Poker Site Offers Satellites
Starting at $2

Who
doesn’t want to play in the WSOP?
The problem for many poker players
isn’t the desire to go, but fronting
the hefty $10,000 buy-in.
Fortunately, online poker players
have supersatellites to work their
way to the Main Event. It may be a
long road through many levels, but
you can actually start out investing
as little as $1 or $2.
Supersatellites work by allowing
players to front a small buy-in and
giving the top finishers a seat at a
larger qualifying event.
Right now, several online poker
sites are gearing up for the 2006
WSOP and are already allowing you to
earn your seat through them. We’ll
start our profiles with
Pacific Poker, whose satellites
begin at $2. Encouraging players by
giving away lots of seats, 20% of
the field qualifies to the next $10
round. From there, you can earn your
way to the main supersatellite event
that actually gives away direct
seats to the Main Event. Even though
you’ll need 3 strong finishes to get
your ticket, at $2 you can take a
shot cheaply. You can also buy-in
directly to the larger buy-in
events. Visit the
Pacific Poker homepage for more
details.
