Another Poker Stars Qualifier Wins a
Major Tourney

We've
seen it happen at the WSOP and now
they're sending the winner to a
World Poker Tour Event.
Poker Stars
satellite qualifier Steve
Paul-Ambrose took the title for the
Caribbean Poker Adventure this week
and almost a $1.4 million first
prize. Although, the online poker
site did sponsor this event so they
probably reserved a large number of
tournament seats for their online
qualifiers.
Still,
Poker Stars entrants made up half of
the 6-seated final table and will be
televised some time later this year
by the World Poker Tour. This
tournament consisted of 724 entrants
paying an $8,000 buy-in (including
fees) or winning an online
satellite. Here's a look at the top
6 finishers:
1. Steve
Paul-Ambrose - $1.4 million
2. Brook
Lyter - $680,000
3. David
Singer - $430,000
4.
Michael Higgins - $330,000
5.
Anders Henriksson - $240,000
6.
Aurangzeb Sheikh - $180,000
