Joseph Hachem, the Australia-born champion, was the top money winner of 2005 earning over $7.5 million for his first place finish. “Pass the sugar!” Steve Dannenmann, the happy-go-lucky second-place finisher, earned the second spot by receiving over $4 million for his efforts. Heck, the entire final table alone at this year’s Main Event become millionaires.
