TITAN POKER BONUS CODE FOR $10 FREE: THEFISH500. Titan Poker is offering our players an instant $10 extra cash on any deposit of $20 or more. The extra $10 is available in your account instantly and can be used at the tables or to buy into tournaments. In addition, new players will still receive our increased 100% bonus.

Overall:  4/5

In a relatively short time of existence, Titan Poker has become quite popular amongst new players. They're offering some generous promotions including an increased 100% bonus for our players as well as a $10 instant cash bonus on any deposit of $20 or more. Titan Poker is part of the Playtech Network, meaning they benefit from increased traffic brought to all sites on the network.

The number of new players at Titan Poker equates to loose action and pots are often very large relative to the blinds. On the technical side, I've also been impressed with their customer service and payouts, which have both been quick in my experiences. Combined with above-average software and soft tables, we give them high marks. Please note that we've adjusted their score for not allowing US players.

Bonus (100% up to $500 + $10 Extra) and Promotions:   5/5

The initial deposit bonus from Titan Poker is increased for our players at a 100% rate, good up to a $500 maximum. Please note that you must download the software through our links to qualify for this increased bonus. While the 100% bonus may take many hours of low-limit gameplay to work off, I found that playing $1/2 no-limit worked $10 of bonus money every 2 or 3 hours.

Another perk that I liked was the $1,000 freeroll entry given to new depositing players. I don't usually play in wild freerolls for miniscule prizes, but a $1,000 prize pool is worthwhile. The number of players isn't typically over 250 or so, so you have a decent shot at winning a good amount of money right off the bat.

Titan Poker offers $15,000, $25,000, and $100,000 prizes for anyone who wins 5 or 6 Sit 'n Go tournaments consecutively at differing buy-ins. While this would be very tough to accomplish, I suppose you could get hit over the head with the deck over, and over, and over, and over again, right? Finally, Titan Poker has a Top Hand of the Day Jackpot and a Bad Beat Bonus.

Fish:   4/5

One of the best reasons to play at Titan Poker is the number of fish that populate the tables. This network largely attracts new players so the skill level is generally below that of more established poker sites. Much of the action is restricted to the lower limits, but recent spikes in traffic have generated action at many of the higher-stakes tables. Mostly, the shorthanded games dominate at the higher limits.

Many full tables at the middle limits have flop percentages of 50+%, meaning an extremely loose game. If you've ever gotten greedy (which is dangerous) about everyone folding to your raise with pocket Aces, you might consider trying out a more maniacal site like Titan Poker. It also means that you generally are paid off more often at this site when you hit a monster hand on the flop. Overall, you should run into soft competition and large pots here.

Tournaments:   4/5

The tournaments have been improving in terms of frequency and the number of players joining each event. While they could work on adding some more events during off-peak hours, tourneys with $5 or $10 buy-ins attract 200 or 300 players. They are also pretty good about catering to wide range in buy-ins. Titan Poker mostly offers guaranteed prize pool tournaments that don't meet the guarantee for number of players, so a couple of hundred dollars is usually added to the prize pool. Smaller $100 freerolls also take place daily, but they are largely crapshoots with tons of participants.

Software:   4/5

On a personal preference, I like the blue color scheme of the Titan Poker software. In terms of practicality, it is pretty easy to use with a logical layout. While it is easy to find the desired cash game in the lobby, they leave empty tables in the list which can be somewhat frustrating. In terms of graphics, the tables and avatars are pretty sharp with a 3-D touch. Each player is able to choose his own avatar at the table from a few pre-selected options. I like the white-suit-donned mafia guy, but that's just me. The cards are easy to read, which is important if you're multi-tabling.

Other positives include a nice hand history feature with a rare graphical interface. Also, Titan Poker likes to tout their addition of a number of casino games like Blackjack and 3-Card Poker. I'll stay away from them, but casino gamblers might enjoy this feature.

Payouts:   4.5/5

Both deposits have been very smooth for me at this site, and NETeller cashouts only took about 24-36 hours. I like the fact that they offer a large number of deposit options, also.

Customer Service  4.5/5

Sites that offer telephone, chat, and e-mail support high scores with me. While e-mail support is pretty quick, I will usually just open up the live chat box from within the software. You can instantly speak with an agent, so you can get your problem resolved quickly.

Player Traffic

As I mentioned before, Titan Poker is on a new but growing network in Playtech. This is probably still a niche poker site, but I've seen a steady increase in traffic over the past few months as this site builds a loyal player base. Tournament traffic is okay for peak events.

Best Features

Good deposit bonus. A 100% bonus is always a good initial promotion.

Beat The Fish private freerolls. By registering through our site you can play in monthly $2,000 private freerolls and other large private events. Check our private freerolls page for event schedule.

Very loose tables. I find that the player base here is mostly filled with newer wilder players. You can usually expect big pots at this site.

Good customer service. They offer phone and chat support, so you don't have to wait to get a response to an issue.

Game Selection: Hold 'em, Omaha, Omaha H/L

Limits: Limit: 2c/4c up to $30/$60     No-Limit: 1c/2c up to $10/$20

Minimum Deposit: $25

Tips: While I generally discourage slowplaying on the flop with a hand that is vulnerable to draws, there are certain types of hands that you must slowplay to build a pot - especially at an active site like Titan Poker. For examples, if you play pocket 7-7 from the button and the flop comes with 7-5-5, you should definitely check or just call to try to keep as many players in as possible. You've made top full house, which is very unlikely to be drawn out on. In fact, you should welcome a free card so that your opponents can catch up to your monster.

You might consider let your opponents take a card off the deck to complete their straight or flush. When you do raise on the turn or river, they certainly won't suspect that they're beaten and you'll get maximum value for your hand. Other hands that you should consider slowplaying on the flop include the nut flush or quads. When you hit such a big hand, you've essentially crippled the deck so your opponents probably won't have much on the flop. Take it slowly and let them catch up a little. Especially on a site like this, you'll usually get plenty of action down the line.
