The 2007 World Series of Poker Schedule
Hoping to grow on 2006's phenomenal
numbers, Harrah's is bracing for another enormous turnout in 2007.
Perhaps stifled by the recent US legislation, the WSOP is hoping to
build on its $12,000,000 first prize won by Jamie Gold in last
year's Main Event. Even smaller buy-in events are attracting record
fields and prize pools as this humble meeting of yesteryear's
greatest has become a breeding ground for internet newcomers and
proven pros alike. The 38th annual World Series of poker should be
huge - even by today's standards.

you'll see the complete 2007 WSOP
schedule. You can also visit our

2008 WSOP schedule. In 2007, Harrah's
listened to the successful stories
of last year and increased the
number of mixed events and
small-buy-in tournaments. The 2007
schedule includes 55 bracelet
events, which is an increase of 9
over last year. Also hoping to
improve on logistics, the Rio will
now have up to 300 tables open for
play and the Main Event will
continue to have 3 separate Day 1s. World Series Circuit
events, which are held in 2006-2007
leading up to the events at the Rio
in the summer are also listed below.
Also,
don't forget about the
round-the-clock single-table
satellites at the Rio for various
events. There will also be $550 and
$1,060 satellites running nightly at
9pm. Finally, just about every night
will feature either a $550 or a
$1,060 Second-Chance tournament at
7pm.
