The crème de la crème of Hollywood is coming together to play poker in support of Feeding America. Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, Matt Damon, Bryan Cranston and Sarah Silverman are just a few of the celebrities that will be competing in this star-studded event.
Hosted by America’s Cardroom, the All in for Feeding America poker tournament will take place today April 11 at 11am PT. You’ll be able to watch on the poker room’s Twitch channel.
Who Will Be Playing?
There isn’t a full list of runners yet, so we expect there to be some surprise guests once the tournament begins. These are the names that are attached to the Feeding America Poker Tournament so far:
- Ben Affleck
- Jason Bateman
- Aaron Paul
- Tobey Maguire
- Adam Sandler
- John Krasinski
- Tom Brady
- Bryan Cranston
- Jason Mewes
- Doyle Brunson
- Cheryl Hines
- Kevin Smith
While many of these players don’t have a huge amount of experience playing poker, some are known to be quite passionate about the game. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have been seen on the WSOP circuit while Aaron Paul performed well at the 2017 PokerStars Championship and Bryan Cranston appeared on an episode of Celebrity Poker back in 2005.

Since there are sure to be more celebrities announced closer to the event, we’re very interested in seeing who will join. Kim Kardashian, Ellen Degeneres, Neymar Jr and Kevin Hart are well-known poker aficionados – so we wonder if any of these big names will be making an appearance tonight.
How to Watch
As all of the participants are practicing social distancing, they will play in the tournament remotely. It will be broadcasted on Twitch on America’s Cardroom’s channel. On the streaming platform, viewers will be able to make donations to the cause and comment on the action.
Anyone can tune in, using their desktop or mobile devices. If you’d like to join that chat as well, you’ll have to sign up for a Twitch account.
The game of choice will be Texas Hold’em, and players will have 1 million starting chips. Blinds will begin at 1000/2000 with a 200 ante.
About Feeding America
All money raised during the tournament will be donated to Feeding America, a hunger relief organization that operates a nationwide network of food banks across the country. Established in 1979, Feeding America now runs 200 food banks in America. The organization feeds 40 million people at risk of hunger, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors.
As the coronavirus pandemic worsens, organizations like Feeding America will need additional help. School closures and job disruptions will put more people at risk of going hungry, and all donations will be used by the organization to:
- Buy stable-shelf food
- Provide more meals safely
- Fuel mobile pantries
- Purchase safety equipment
So far, the All in For Feeding America initiative has raised just over $1 million. The goal is $1.5 million and, judging by the support so far, we’re sure that donations will far exceed this amount.
