MyBookie Sportsbook Overall
Although only open since 2014, online sportsbook MyBookie has made a favorable impression on American sports bettors, offering a huge number of sports, a live dealer casino, mobile-friendly interface, and consistent payouts among its positives.
As a veteran online sports bettor, simply offering game lines doesn’t impress me. I want to see features that aren’t offered elsewhere and MyBookie.ag does have a fair number of them.
These days, I’m doing most of my betting on mobile and the MyBookie interface, including live betting, seems perfectly optimized for mobile. The casino even sports live video dealers on mobile.
MyBookie also is one of the only USA-friendly online sportsbooks that I’ve seen direct checking account payouts from. Although I prefer their 3-day Bitcoin payouts, MyBookie will actually still send payouts right to your bank account if you want.
The cash bonuses at MyBookie are also some of the largest I’ve seen, going up to a full 100% match if you’re willing to play there for awhile and roll it over 10 times in bets. I also appreciate live chat available around the clock and they still offer the classic player prop builder disappearing from some larger sportsbooks.
MyBookie isn’t perfect. I would suggest that they improve their payout review time and only ardent bettors are going to want to deal with a 10x bonus rollover, but this is a solid choice for Americans looking for a reliable online sportsbook.
✅ Is MyBookie a legit sportsbook?
I've heard about the rocky history of MyBookie, which took place before I reviewed them. From my experiences, they've seemed to work hard to improve, namely in the forms of support and payouts. Unless you're looking to hit and run with free plays, I think you'll find MyBookie comparable to other online sportsbooks accepting US players.
✅ How is MyBookie with payouts?
I don't like the minimum 2-day processing time, but you'll get Bitcoin withdrawals within about 3 days, which is decent. MyBookie also has some rare payout methods, such as eCheck and wire transfer.
✅ What is the MyBookie casino like?
Surprisingly, the MyBookie casino is actually one of the fully-featured of those open to US players. There are hundreds of games, everything works on mobile, and they have live dealers with $2.50 minimum bets.
✅ How do you get free bets at MyBookie?
The MyBookie Free Bet system essentially works like reduced juice. After every 10 bets, you'll earn a free bet worth 10% of the minimum of your last 10 bets. If you're betting around the same amount, that's essentially 10% cash back. The free bet only has a 1x rollover, meaning you really only have to bet it once to cash it out.
Sports offered at MyBookie
The first thing you will notice when you get to the homepage is the easy-to-read navigation bar full of different wagering options on the left side of the screen.
You can bet on an enormous range of sports from the NBA to esports. Truly, if you can find it anywhere in the world, MyBookie is going to offer betting on it.
Reviewing MyBookie during the global pandemic that has called off almost all sports, I appreciate their obscure offerings like Russian table tennis and Nicaraguan soccer. No need to judge.
MyBookie also takes wagers on horse races and current event props. The current event props are probably my favorite feature of MyBookie, as they offer prop bets on nearly everything. I mean everything, from who will be the next elected pope to what country will send humans to Mars first.
MyBookie Bonus Choices
Bonuses at MyBookie are better than what most sportsbooks have to offer, as you can claim a first-time 100% deposit bonus up to $1,000 if you use Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Bitcoin Cash.
If you’re using a credit card or cash transfer, you can get a 50% cash bonus, good up to $1,000.
Keep in mind, however, that MyBookie has a 10x rollover for both the deposit amount and the bonus amount combined. That means you’ll need to bet the deposit + bonus 10 times before you can withdraw.
What I really like about the MyBookie bonuses is that the money is added to your account balance to bet with right away.
10% extra cash only has a 1x rollover
The 10% cash bonus option at MyBookie doesn’t sound impressive. In fact, it sounds pretty paltry. I’ll tell you why I actually recommend it to a lot of players: the 1x rollover.
You get the 10% right away as cash added to your balance and then you only have to bet your balance once to cash it out. Almost everyone is going to do that. You can get up to $200 with this bonus.
In a way, MyBookie is bringing back the old 10% Bodog bonus from way back in the day. It was great for its simplicity back then and it still is effective today.
If you look around MyBookie, like their lines and interface, and plan to stick around for a while, then grab the 50% or 100%. That’s a generous bonus. However, keep in mind that your money is going to be locked up for a while.
If you aren’t comfortable with that, take the 10% and be done with it. Then you’re flexible to do what you want with your money. If you’re sports betting like I am, winning your bets is what’s important, not having to play just to clear a bonus.
If you plan to play at the surprisingly extensive MyBookie casino, you can actually claim a 150% bonus up to $750, which is the largest they offer. It has a massive 40x rollover, but casino games clear clear rollovers faster than sports betting.
MyBookie Promo Code
Although there’s a box where you can enter a MyBookie promo code, it’s actually no longer necessary. On the deposit screen, simply click the bonus you’d like and it will automatically be added to the cashier with your deposit.
In fact, the bonuses MyBookie shows here are almost always better than the old promo codes given out.
MyBookie Deposit Options
MyBookie offers the 3 main deposit options you’ll find at other online sportsbooks open to American players:
- Credit card
- Cash transfer
The minimum deposit at MyBookie is $45, which is fairly low, and $100 for cash transfers. Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin are accepted along with both major cash transfer services.
MyBookie was extremely fast accepting my Bitcoin deposit and applying it to my account. It was about 8 minutes, which is much lower than typical Bitcoin transactions. My guess is MyBookie credits you after only 1 or 2 Bitcoin network confirmations rather than the 6+ other merchants require.
MyBookie offers its users seven different deposit options with pretty respectable limits. MoneyGram and cash transfer have a $500 limit, while Visa and Mastercard have a $2,500 deposit limit.
High rollers will probably look to deposit using Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Bitcoin Cash, which all have $10,000 deposit limits.
All of their payout methods have a mandatory two-day processing time, according to the timeframes listed on their payout page. Users who use cryptocurrency to receive their payout receive their payment within 24 hours beyond that most of the time.
For Bitcoin payouts, I appreciate that MyBookie just texts you a code, you give them your wallet address, and that’s it. No complicated verification documents. It’s a bummer that it takes 2-3 days for MyBookie to send it to your wallet, but that’s about average with the competition.
Echeck is excellent for American bettors
MyBookie also offers a couple of very rare withdrawal methods in wire transfer and direct echeck payouts. Those are almost unheard of for US players.
Wire transfers have a $500 minimum and a $75 fee whereas I just recommend doing the checking account transfer for just $5.
Echeck payouts take around 2 weeks to receive and you have to send MyBookie a copy of your bank statement or voided check the first time you do it. That’s an excellent service that not many online sportsbooks currently offer.
Betting Interface at MyBookie
The interface is very appealing and quite easy to use. New bettors can safely place their first couple of bets without getting confused thanks to the handy navigation bar on the left side of the page.
At any time, whether you’re submitting a bet or adding teams to a big parlay, you can find all available betting options in the navigation bar. MyBookie has been good about expanding its horizons with its betting options.
For example, if you like to gamble on soccer, you could previously only find lines for Premier League and La Liga, but now you can bet on a ton of different soccer teams and leagues.
The search bar is a game-changer
One thing that doesn’t catch the user at first glance is the MyBookie search bar. It can be really frustrating when you’re trying to find a certain team and end up searching through 10 different leagues before you find what you’re looking for.
If you would like to place a wager but can’t find the lines for it, search the team or league in the search bar, and the MyBookie lines will come up within seconds. It will definitely come in handy when you wait until the last second to place your bets before game time.
Betting options include but are not limited to the NBA, NHL, MLS, NFL, NCAAF, NCAAB, MLB, XFL, and the list goes on.
There is no MyBookie app for betting on mobile. You simply load the website from a mobile browser and everything is available.
MyBookie Live Betting
MyBookie’s live betting is relatively easy and has plenty of options with reduced juice. All you have to do is click on the bet you want to make, and then it will appear in the “Bet Slip” section on the right-hand side of the page.
Like most sportsbooks, MyBookie does not offer live betting options on all big games, but it does most of the time.
Another very underrated aspect of MyBookie’s live betting platform is the filter, as the ability to filter out games makes finding the match you are looking for a lot easier. In the “Upcoming” section of the live betting page, click on the pull-down menu to the right of it and select “Next 3 Hours” to get results.
Prop Bets at MyBookie.ag
Props have become one of the most popular wagers in all of gambling, and for good reason. Bettors who really like a player rather than a team can bet on player props, which MyBookie offers an abundance of.
MyBookie offers props on nearly everything, and if you can’t find the prop you are looking for, just build it. When you are on the MyBookie homepage, the Props Builder is located towards the bottom. This allows you to literally build your own prop, which is really nice.
Build your own player props
I was glad to see MyBookie still offer the prop bet builder, which has been disappearing from some USA sportsbooks like 5Dimes. Props builder is great because you don’t have to wait for MyBookie to post their own props.
You just select a game, player, and choose the stat you want to bet on. You’ll then see different lines, which you can actually adjust.
Props can be very lucrative for lesser-known players but bettors are usually at the mercy of the sportsbooks on what they choose to post. With props builder, you can create almost any prop with any player you choose.
With a name like MyBookie, I’d imagine that most players are there for sports betting. However, the MyBookie casino is surprisingly full-featured, even more so than many sites focused on casino games.
The MyBookie casino runs on Betsoft software, which has a massive game catalog and focuses on being mobile-friendly. There are dozens of table games like Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Baccarat.
There are dozens, if not hundreds, of slots that work on both desktop and mobile. My only gripe is the “3D Slots” section works on outdated Flash, whereas the normal slots section is on HTML5. All of them worked on my iPhone, however.
MyBookie does have an extensive live dealer casino for Blackjack, Roulette, Super 6, and Baccarat. I was impressed at how well live dealers work on mobile with full video. Blackjack goes down to a low $2.50 minimum bet with the only qualm being that it can be tough to find an open seat.
For gamblers who prefer to wager on horses, look no further than MyBookie.ag. They even offer an 8% rebate on all horse racing wagers, so you will get back up to one-tenth of your money every single time.
The percent of rebate depends on which racetrack and what type of bet you submit.
This is one of many areas My Bookie has really improved on over the past couple of years. The “MyBookie Supercontest” features a top prize of $125,000 and only costs $100 to enter. You simply bet the spread on each game in the NFL and earn points for getting them right.
“Squares” is a fun way to bet, as everybody has an equal chance to win. These contests feature a $1,500 top prize, and you enter by simply buying squares.
If your square has the correct score, you win. This is another good feature for people newer to gambling or bettors who don’t take gambling as seriously.
MyBookie runs more betting contests than I’ve seen at any other online sportsbook. Some are free to enter and others have up to a $100 entry fee. The prize pools vary from $15,000 all the way up to $300,000.
Blowout with Barstool Sports
Most men and women in the sports betting world are familiar with or have heard of Barstool Sports. In a recent public bout, MyBookie replied to one of Dave Portnoy’s tweets on Twitter and Portnoy was not happy about it.
What was a great partnership and advertisement deal turned into a nightmare situation for MyBookie, as Portnoy took to Twitter to complain and talk down on MyBookie, which resulted in Portnoy eventually tweeting out screenshots of DM’s of users who claim that it’s impossible to withdraw their money.
Brandon Walker was actually hired by Portnoy from MyBookie.ag, and he hired him out of spite. Barstool Sports and MyBookie are still on bad terms, but from what I have seen in the past year, MyBookie has made it a priority to make sure customers are now paid out on time.
My Bookie Customer Service
Another area MyBookie has really improved on over the years is their customer service and support. They have a chat bar located towards the bottom of the screen that you can ask anything, and it will give you an answer or offer help in sorting out your issue.
This is one thing I wish more sportsbooks offered. MyBookie seems to be one of a select few sportsbooks that actually has a live chat bar available at all times. New bettors and bettors not as tech-savvy can get great use out of this feature.
I actually made my first Bitcoin deposit at MyBookie and forget to select any type of bonus. I just clicked on the live chat, a rep joined right away, and manually added the bonus in for me within a minute or two.
I appreciated MyBookie not being sticklers about me forgetting to click the bonus first and their support people for knowing how to handle it.
I have had to call MyBookie a few times before to sort out some issues, and I must say I was more than pleased, to say the least. I got a hold of a MyBookie representative rather quickly, and they did a really good job of guiding me through my issue with ease.
If you use the web form or email to contact MyBookie, you can expect a response within around 12 hours, which is quite nice.
