Turning 21 is a big deal for anyone, but most people make a night of it – maybe a weekend, at most. For the next four months, there will be some impressive tournaments available at Americas Cardroom. In July and August, the main 21st Anniversary Party will take place, consisting of:
- The biggest-ever Mini Online Super Series in July
- A special anniversary tournament with a $1 million guarantee and a buy-in for just $109
- The $10 million guaranteed Venom tournament with several ticket giveaways
- An OSS Cub3d tournament series in August
The Afterparty will take place in September and October, the following special events will be hosted:
- Heads-up challenges vs Team ACR Pros and the site’s CEO Phil Nagy
- Package giveaways for Americas Cardroom’s live Uruguay event
- A surprise tournament offering a large prize pool and a small buy-in
About the $1M Anniversary Event
Tournaments with guarantees of $1 million or more normally have quite large buy-ins. Usually, you can expect to pay upwards of $500 to buy in to an event of this size – but, the ACR’s 21st anniversary poker tournament has a buy-in of just $109.
There are starting flights every day from now until July 10th. Day 2 will also take place on July 10th, where the qualifying players will vie for their share of the impressive prize pool.
Players can win their way into the event for free via a four-step path. Freerolls are available daily and qualifying players will be able to enter the Super Satellite which qualifies them for the Mega Satellite. Finally, those who land in the top spots of the Mega Satellite will earn a ticket into the $1 Million GTD 21st Anniversary Event.
21 Years of Excellence at Americas Cardroom
It was back in 2001 that Americas Cardroom first opened its doors under the Winning Poker Network. At the time, there were only four other poker sites in operation: Ultimate Bet, PokerStars, PartyPoker and Ultimate Bet.
