America’s Cardroom will be giving away 20 seats for the World Series of Poker Main Event. During the WSOP Takedown tournament, events will begin at $1.10.

The World Series of Poker is just around the corner and, if you’ve been hoping to enter, America’s Cardroom has the perfect opportunity for you. The popular online poker site will be offering players the chance to win entry into the tournament during its WSOP Takedown event, which runs from September 5th to September 19th.

What’s On Offer

There are some great prize packages available for the winners of the WSOP Takedown event at America’s Cardroom. All-in-all, 20 WSOP packages worth $12,500 are guaranteed. These will include:

  • $10,000 for the World Series of Poker Main Event buy-in
  • $2,500 for travel expenses

America’s Cardroom is no stranger to giving away World Series of Poker seats. Over the years, the site has sent dozens of players into the most prestigious poker event in the world.

Satellites for All Bankrolls

Whether you’re a microstakes player or have a little more money to spend, there are many satellites for you to take part in as part of the WSOP Takedown. These range from $1.10 to $215.

If you’d prefer to just go straight to the final events, you’ll be spending $109 for the Takedown with 5 packages on offer and $215 for the event offering 15 packages. The dates for these are as follows:

  • 5 WSOP Packages guaranteed on September 12th at 4PM for $109
  • 15 WSOP Packages guaranteed on September 19th at 4PM for $215

About the 2021 World Series of Poker

The 2021 World Series of Poker will run from September 30th to November 23rd and will take place the Rio in Las Vegas. This will be the 52nd edition of the event, and 88 events will be held.

As usual, there are plenty of exciting events for poker hopefuls to take part in. No Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Lowball Draw, H.O.R.S.E, Razz and Mixed games are all included, and there are all sorts of formats. So, if you prefer something a little more interesting than a standard tournament, there are:

New Additions to the WSOP Lineup

In addition to the usual events, there are also some notable tournaments that you’ll want to keep up with. The $1979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty invites all WSOP Poker Hall of Famers to take part, with each participant having a bounty on their head worth the year that they were inducted. For example, if Erik Seidel took part, his bounty would be worth $2010.

A $1000 COVID-19 Relief No Limit Hold’em Charity Event will be held on the first day of the event. It’s not very often that a WSOP event is played with proceeds going to charity, and we’d definitely like to see this become a new annual tradition.
