Playtech and 888 Agree to Multi-State Deal With RNG

Playtech 888 USA
Playtech will make its entry into New Jersey’s online gambling market via a new partnership with 888.

It has been announced that Playtech has teamed up with 888 Holdings in a deal that will see the software provider power a variety of games for 888’s platforms across the United States. This is a landmark deal for both companies, and will only serve to further their expansion plans.

Which Playtech Games Will Be Available at 888 in the United States?

Players at 888 apps and websites in the USA will be able to access the full suite of Playtech games. The brand will supply RNG titles (such as slots and table games) as well as live dealer games.

Playtech’s slot selection is second-to-none in the online gaming world, full of games that have been captivating players in Europe for years. The company’s progressive jackpot networks like Age of the Gods have paid out countless life-changing prizes, and innovative mechanics like the Kingdoms’ Rise Feature Shop have introduced players to a whole new way of enjoying slots gameplay.

The live casino offering from Playtech is equally as impressive. In addition to featuring casino classics like roulette, blackjack and baccarat, the brand has also produced some unique variants that have brought live casino gaming to a whole new level. For example, Playtech’s Quantum Roulette introduces multipliers to the classic casino game, giving players the chance to win some amazing payouts.

Where Will Playtech Launch with 888 First?

The first state that will get to experience RNG and live dealer games as part of Playtech’s new partnership with 888 is New Jersey. 888 has not yet launched in any other states – aside from powering the WSOP app in Michigan.

So, it’s likely that the next state that 888 casino games will go live in is Michigan. There is also the possibility that 888 will launch in three other states, as the brand signed multi-year market access agreements with Colorado, Indiana and Iowa – but, only time will tell when players in those states will actually be able to access 888 games.

Playtech’s Entry into the American Gambling Market

Playtech has had a foothold in the European online gaming market for decades, and finally made the shift into the American industry late last year. It was in December 2021 that Playtech announced the launch of live casino bases in Michigan and New Jersey – two of the biggest online gaming markets in the USA.

“The launch of the two facilities represents our core strategy of bringing our industry-leading studio standards to the U.S. whilst ensuring that Playtech Live’s most engaging and innovative products and technology are available to new markets and audiences” – said Edo Hatin, Playtech Live Casino’s CEO.

The new state-of-the-art studios were built to serve Playtech’s live casino software on the Parx Interactive platform in Michigan and the bet365 online gaming platform in New Jersey. Shortly after this, Playtech expanded its Parx collaboration into New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The company has been moving mad in the American online gaming world, and its hard work will certainly pay off. Operators like 888 are going live in more and more states across the country, and Playtech has positioned itself to have a near-ubiquitous presence in the USA.
