Despite
recent legislation passed by the US government, many online poker rooms are
running with a "business as usual" mentality and continue
to accept US poker players. We wholeheartedly
support any company or organization fighting this new law and urge
you to stand up for your right to play poker as Americans.
Fortunately, US citizens can still play
at the poker rooms listed here or on our left navigation bar if
there is a flag icon next to the poker room's name. You can follow the links to a
full review of each poker site's bonuses, tournaments, Fish Rating,
software, customer service, payouts, and more. We generally rate
these sites higher for accepting US players.
The current list of US online poker
rooms is thin largely due to the events of
April 15, 2011
and the subsequent closure of former behemoths Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars, and Absolute Poker. In some encouraging news most of the Merge
network and Bodog returned to allowing new US registrations after an extended
hiatus. Our recommended Merge skins are listed below. We cannot
recommend the lesser-trafficked Yatahay and Everleaf networks due to
liquidity issues and being targeted by government seizures.
